I know that their gods changed often, but you should go to a website like britannica.com or wikipedia.com, or to your library. You won't find enough info here from us, and it might not even be accurate.

If I recall correctly, they worshipped many Gods. They believed you needed gold and treasures (the rich anyways) to pass to the other side. I believe they were the first (recorded) to think we go to another side after death. And let's not forget the mummifying. Cats were worshipped (which I've heard is a good thing cuz the cats killed the rats and mice that carried the plague & diseases etc). And their version of the god of the underworld was a dog, with an a name. Oh if this is for a paper, I would look it up at wikipedia. But for a visual reference, the movie "The Mummy" was pretty cool, I wouldn't include it in your paper but it was a good one!:O]
