he had a sense of humour?. The pharisees said that he hung out with the 'bad boys and girls'. Do you think that, you know, after a few grails of wine he'd do a few David Blaine type wowzers? I don't know about you other 'bad boys and girls' but Him rambling on about who would be blessed just would not cut it for me.
Since he DID hang out with them and since they didn't just lynch him or something (after a few grails of wine), He must have been a helluva guy, right?

If Jesus talked to "Atheists", I know He would be preaching the Gospel to them. It is true that the people Jesus hung out with were social outcasts, because I guess He figured the people who were left behind needed God the most. Secondly, Jesus said in the Word that He will not drink wine again until the day we sit down together wiht the Father.

All I know is I wouldn't pay Jesus any more attention, or consider him as any more reliable than anybody else. That's, of course, if we could actually work the wonder of bringing to the 21st century a guy who's been dead for 2000 years.

My life is proof that God has a sense of humor. That and platypuses. He's one creative guy.
And yes, I believe Jesus also had a sense of humor and had fun with people.
I think it's ironic you said he's a -hell- of a guy. He definitely conquered sin and death and is now in heaven, preparing a place for us.
