I am researching my family. Every time I get to certain ancestors, I lost the trail. We definetly aren't connected to anyone from the families that have found their roots in Spain. We did a dna test, it seems the dna is from Italy..... I know there are many Gonzalez but we keep hitting dead ends... so we are trying entry into Mexico via Italy...

The last answer was supposed to point out the futility of finding a needle in a hay stack. Italians have been coming to Mexico since 1500 or so. There are a lot of them. Was this your 12th great grandfather or a girl you met on spring break last April?

Without a first name (or names) and some dates, your chance of finding anything is slim.

75% of the free genealogical data on the Internet is devoted to people in the USA with European roots and their European ancestors, for a number of reasons I won't go into here, so your chances of finding anything at all are slim; the chance of finding your man (or woman) are even slimmer.

My relatives came from Mexico with the same last name . Don't think we were from Italy though.
