Islam is the only monotheist religion whos canonical doctrines demand all non-Muslims (kufir) be either converted, reduced to dhimmi status (second class) or death. There are no other choices in Islam. Christianity, Catholicism and Judiasm reformed their respective religions to eliminate the militaristic, mysoginistic and bigoted verses long ago. Islam has not. There is a concept called Ijtihad and it means "the gate" or "the door" and it is the way that the Islamic ulema reopens questions concerning the Koran and sharia. This is the only way Islam can modify or change any of its basic tenents and this "door" has been closed for over 1,000 years. The Islamic clerics, as well as the ulema have stated in no uncertain terms that "Ijtihad" will not be opened, that there will be no study and modification of Islamic doctrine or law now or in the forseeable future. Until that happens, Islam will forever be stuck in the 7th century with no chance to show the world that they are not as dangerous as a lot of us believe. Let me end by posing this question.....since 9-11 over 11,000 attacks by fundamental Islamists have occured worldwide. Show how many fundamental Christians or Catholics have attacked or killed innocents because the Pope, or Christian leaders told them, by using chapter and verse from the Bible to do so.

YES, the Muslim culture and the Jews lived together for many years, in the exodus many Egyptians left Egypt with the Jews, even Jesus lived in Egypt, What happened is when Israel became a State is when the hatred started. We all existed together and it can happen again but it will not because Israel is here to stay as a State.

many views of peoples faith are 'tolerable' I totally respect people rights to invest their lives as they see to a very very large degree
the bettrer question is is it true
and the answer is no... it is a gospel substutute and can lead people away form salvaiton , pressenting a false gospel and a fasle view of God

Genocide: 70 million people died in the Americas, because of the 'evangelisation'.
Would CHRISTIANITY be tolerable, if it weren't for this?
