In the future I would love to live in Ireland, but at the same time I would want to live somewhere there are lots of different places to snowboard, but also I wouldn't want to live in the snow, that would be a hassle, and I would prefer to live near a city so that I have access to services and goods without a enormously long drive. lol I know that is alot of specifics, but I am very unfamiliar with the geograhpy of Ireland and any information would be appreciated.

I am from Ireland, and can tell you that the Olympic skiers had to go to Italy for training. Ireland has hills not mountains!

I don't live in Ireland, but I've driven much of the country and don't remember seeing too much snow. We had some flurries, freezing temps and one night a wind that shook the pipes so they howled.

Then again...found a website that mentions a good snow in the winter may not happen, but check it out - an Irish Snowboarder website. Maybe...
