Here's the thing....I was dating this guy for about 2 months...we fell for one another pretty hard...everything was unbelievable for about 6 weeks...and then it seemed everything went wrong. I felt him pulling away...he wasn't being as affectionate and started being a little mean sometimes in a "joking" way...so I asked him what was going on...which made him pull away even further. This is a grown man who told me he loved me...and the scary thing is that I KNOW he meant it when he said it...he really thought he was in love with me....and I really thought I was in love with him...so I tried to convince him not to give up on us so easily...and he said that we could kind of start over with one another...things seemed to be fine for a day or two....and then he stopped calling me all together...never broke up with me....just disappeared! And if I were to call him, I know he'd answer the phone...but he's a LOSER and I refuse to call....but how can someone do that to another person???

Okay my ex did the same thing to me. The answer is easy. He's scared of commitment. He may deny it, because well, he's a guy.
He got close probably closer than he has ever felt to any one before. But when he realized it was the real thing it scared him. So by nature you run from what scares you. He was scared by the emotions that you trigured. Don't call him to much it'll make you look desperate and it might tick him off. But call him once and ask what his opinion is and find out if you two are still together. Act like you have better things to do and it really wouldn't bother you anyways. Just let him go his way and you go yours in the end if it was meant to be...........he'll come back to you realizing how much of a LOSER that he really is. Good luck.

Very common problem. You should not expect to hv same kind of a charged up feeling or some one all through your life. With the passage of time relationships become more mature. Your heart no more beats at the mere thought of your partner..rather u become more yourself. Yu no longer feel like impressing or presentingur best . In other words u shud be more comortable with ur partner or being just ur self. So, don't make an issue out of it. Be normal and tell him about ur comfort level with him

I've seen that happen before. It ended up that the guy was actually involved with someone else on a more serious basis and that relationship was a little rocky. She found out (the girl who was with him first) and he stopped seeing the other one (I think he saw her for only a couple months and met on one of those internet dating sites, and hid it from girl #1 for a while). Sounds like a Soap, but it does happen!

Maybe that was the same thing that happened. Regardless, I'd just forget about him and not worry about it.

HONEY I HATE TO TELL YA BUT HE WAS NEVER IN LOVE WITH YOU HE JUST WANTED SOME A** WHICH I THINK HE GOT RIGHT? SO TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION DEPENDING ON THE GUY AND HOW FREAKIN PATHETIC THEY ARE THEY'LL DO AND SAY ANYTHING TO GET LAID PLAN AND SIMPLE WHEN A GUY HAS ONLY KNOWN YOU 2 WEEKS AND HE SAY'S HE LOVES YOU HE'S USUALLY JUST TRYING TO SEE HOW NAIVE YOU REALLY ARE THAT MAKES HIS JOB THAT MUCH EASIER. A LITTLE ADVICE START TAKING THINGS A LITTLE SLOWER AND IF YOUR GONNA SCREW A DUDE SO SOON TRY NOT TO BELIEVE EVERYTHING HE SAYS OR ELSE YOU'LL ALWAYS GET THE SHAFT SOON AFTER. YOUR PLAYING YOURSELF

Been there sweetie. You dont get over it you just have to get past it. His issues are not your concern. You are not a psychiatrist, you are a person who deserves a whole lot more. Just take it easy one day at time and if he calls you, suggest he gets some help because there is no excuse for his rotten disrespectful behavior.

Its called life and those sort of things happen all of the time. People deal with situations differently He jsut felt that was the best way to let you know he is no longer interested.

Men are dogs and dogs have rude behaviors. You should forget about him and take this relationship as a lesson, when one gives you signs take them and run with them. Don't let yourself get caught, next time you will know what is going on and you will dump him before he has a chance to dump you.
