UHHH DUDE. . . . ? what part of NO did u not understand? u asked her out in January. if u haven't seen an opportunity to take things to the next level in the last 7 MONTHS, u more than likely missed it, if there ever was one. if u wanna get her to look at u differently, try movin on with your life and dating other hot chicks. she may see u differently if she see's that u are desireable to other hot chicks.

Just ask her out for a simple meal or to have some coffee, and see if there's anything there. Be casual about it. Don't "hey can I ask you on a date?" or "You wanna try hookin' up?" or "I like you, more than just friends, wanna chat about it over dinner?" or "Lets catch a movie" The last one almost is assumed as a "date".

So many people ask this type of question. Ask them to meet you in a casual setting first, see your comfort levels with each other, determine if there's something more there. I think many great relationships never began because one or both went in there with great expectations only to find some silence and discomfort scaring them off. It's sad. Let nature guide you!

Tell her how you feel. Since you guys are close friends she should understand. I am a female with a close friend too. He lives in Maryland and I live in Florida. We decided that the distance was too much but we are still close friends. He came to see me when I was in the hospital with a tumor. Even though both of us are seeing other people we still care about each other very much. I have been with my boyfriend now for 2 years and they are friends too. Just be honest, being scared of her reaction is okay but its better than living a lie. Good Luck and I hope everything works out!

Your a guy right? So you should have some balls..... Just tell her you wanna take this friendship to the next level and if she dont... So what! Her lose not yours... And if you guys are a "close" as you say you two are... Then great reason for you to JUST DO IT!

Best wishes!

You are the man and sounds to me that you asked her out already and she said no...so since it didn't push her away, it can go either way, let her know exactly how you feel then it is up to her to refuse you or give you a chance, good luck..But do it face to face, not on the phone, text, or e-mail...

don't. long distance relationships suck. plus you already screwed up by become a "close friend". you want her? make her want you. beat around the bush, don't be there for her sometimes. she doesn't want you cuz she already has you. start missing her calls, forget to call her back, things like that.
chicks will never admit it. but they want what they can't have.
and if you're there for her everytime she'll be bored of you.

She already told you NO, don't blow the friendship by pushing for something she isn't interested in.

Just tell her. But be careful because long distant relationships are hard to maintain.
