In my opinion, there is no need for elective abortion. Comparing elective abortion to abortion due to rape/incest/health of the mother is comparing apples to oranges. They cannot be compared because the circumstances are different.
In the case of elective abortion, the choice to have unprotected sex was made, the consequence is a child, a living person. I hate the excuse, "it's my body and I need to have the choice." I say to that, you do have a choice, it's called birthcontrol, or absetnence. If people were more careful, about their sexual habits, and respectful of the power to create life, the need for abortion would go away.
I am always saddened when women choose to have an abortion. There are thousands of families would would love to adopt that child, and to love it and raise it.

Well it all boils down to the child, it may be for the best for the woman to have an abortion, even if it may seem cruel to some people. But think of it this way, would you really enjoy gorwing up in a poverty-ish household, possibly with fighting, abusive, or non-supporting parents? The answer is no, no one should have to suffer a horrible childhood just because some people say abortion is bad, it just isn't fair for the child. When most of grew up or are growing up, we have always been jealous or envious of the richer folks, unless you happen to be part of the upper echelon. Why should some innocent kids be riding a bicycle while another kid is driving a Ferrari? Growing up feeling like you're subordinate to others is just wrong, especially if the reason was because people are against abortion. Sure, there are some kids who grow up to be fine, but the majority of people who have unsafe sex frequently don't have the financial means to survive, let alone with a kid. But back to your question if a woman should ever have more than one abortion, and I would have to say, if it is absolutely necessary. The other option that some people would say is to give the baby up for adoption, but be realistic, wouldn't you be happier growing up with your biological parents rather than adoptive parents, even if they happen to be very caring and loving, there is just some family connection that seems to be crucial to feel "normal."

I'm pro-choice.
With that said, honestly, no there is never a need for a woman to have more than one abortion. I'm with you about statistics--only a couple percent of abortions are performed when the mother is endangered. People who have more then one (and sometimes just one) abortion are using it for birth control. I cannot even believe why a girl would get raped more then once without putting herself in that situation--I guess it does happen though.
To wrap my beliefs up--as I'm sure you've heard me say before. God gave ALL of us free will. I am not going to take that God given right away from anyone ((legally)). I will never support abortion and will do anything in my power if anyone thinks about abortion to convince them otherwise.

I am a high school teacher and I have one student in particular who has had three abortions in the past year. I am completely pro choice and have had one abortion myself, but that one was enough for me. I understand that many people think abortions are wrong, but think of how many aditional people there would be in the world living off of our tax dollars if abortions were illegal. I do not believe my student would have closed her legs if they were illegal. She would just have had children by now.
I think if we start putting limitations on the number of abortions women are allowed, the next step would be outlawing them all together. I think women (and girls) should have more self respect and responsibility to have any abortions at all, but if you didn't learn the first time, there are other problems to be addressed. Good luck!

Yes...
There are medical conditions such as endometriosis which cause more frequent tubal pregnancies... My ex husbands wife has had to have 3 abortions due to tubal pregnancies due to endometriosis... After several surgeries she was finally able to concieve and carry a baby to term... They considered adoption but due to my ex husbands medical record (He had a heart attack at age 17 and has a sever birth defect which will shorten his life span...) they were unable to adopt... They also looked into being foster parents but were turned down due to the same medical records... They also looked into surragacy while at the same time having several surgeries and trying in vitro to bypass the endometriosis in the fallopian tubes...
They finally were able to concieve and she was able to carry to term 4 years ago...
Yes, there are times when multiple abortions are a medically necessary to save the life of the mother...
Judge not least you be judged... Someone could take apart all the decisions you make in your life and find fault.. You are doing the same thing to others when you judge them for the choices they make...

There is never a need for any abortions. Ever. At all. Under no circumstances. I don't care what the issue was. It is not that helpless baby's fault, regardless of the situation. I had a classmate in high school got pregnant by a black guy (she was white, not to sound racist.), and had an abortion. She came to school crying and being all pitiful. I told her that it was nobody's fault but her own, and to shut up. Before that, we were friends, but after, I never spoke to her again. Abortion should be illegal, and shame on anyone who has one.

Yes I do think there is. Look how many girls are getting pregnant by their father, uncles, etc. over and over and no one steps in to help. Some women get pregnant and don't know of complications and have to get abortions, that happens often. My step mother had 2 ectopic pregnancies and had to abort both. Now the women who can't seem to figure out what causes babies need to be shot for having so many, but there are some truly legit cases out there.

I am pro-choice because I can not dictate what anyone else does with their life or body. I personally, however, would never choose to have an abortion. I do not think that women should use abortion as a method of birth control.

Having several abortions is just sick. I know a girl shes 22 now. She BRAGS about having abortions. I don't know how many she is up to but when she was 19 she was up to 6. She would be like "yeah I was pregnant with evans baby and i just aborted it" and want attention. Shes a stupid little b*tch.

I myself. find nothing wrong with having an abortion if its those cases u stated such as rape, incest.. But again im both ways because i dont think id be able to kill of something that was part of me. Yet i cant fully answer this because i havent been in the sitaution.
Yet i think its wrong for girls who go out and are havin unprotected sex and pick that option. If your gonna have sex use protection and or BC.
