Legal immigration...none.
Illegal immigration...a horrendous drain on our resources...taxes go up...citizens are less eligible for services than they were before the illegal alien came in and stole it all.

Illegal immigration, or excess immigration of poor people, brings in more people who do not make enough money to pay for basic taxpayer services like education let alone other services poor people use. Accordingly, we have to pay the difference and our children's education funds are stretched to cover these others. Our immigration laws are supposed to take this into account and budget for that for th number of legal immigrants we allow, although automatic immigration like from family relationships stretches this. Illegal immigrants are budget busters and are ruining schools and closing hospitals in our border states and in areas where illegal immigrants concentrate.

At least in California, ILLEGAL immigrants are bankrupting our medical, educational, and prison systems. They are responsible for closing down a large number of emergency rooms, overcrowding our schools and prisons.
I don't have it with me at the moment, but if you look at the current issues on the California ballot, there are at least six to eight measures which are so misleading, they fall just short of direct lies. They are ALL attempts to get money through the back door to pay for the shortages which are caused by the illegal invaders.
In addition, common laws, common customs, and a common language are the three main components which hold a society together. The illegal invaders are tearing apart our society by not attempting to assimilate. They don't adapt to our customs, they completely disregard our laws, and they don't even attempt to speak our language.

Well, let's see, massive giveaway programs in some states, the so-called 'magnet', massive spending to boost law enforcement to keep up with the explosive growth, taxes to pay for the additional needed infrastructure, taxes taxes and MORE taxes to subsidize states that have let their budgets go so far out of kilter that they'll never recover on their own due to trying to outspend the relentless demand for services, building new jails/prisons,
all this and more, what a bargain! Well, sort of...
