I need a problem statement. EX: Can i build a seismograph? but not as stupid.

i don't think mr. taylor will accept it. I once built a fire extinguisher for science fair and i didn't win anything =(

If you build a seismograph, and it's sensitive enough, you could monitor nearby traffic. You might get in touch with the school's original architect and ask what sort of seismic forces the school could handle. Of course, building a seismograph and calibrating one are different things, and the calibration is the difficult part, but it would be an interesting expirement.

Other than that, I'm not sure what sort of problem you are looking for.
