Science is a continuing study to probe the truth about the existence of everything for both proven and still unproven. Truth will always depend on its present fact that may need to be altered, added with or disproven one day.
Like one time it was theorized that human's earliest development came from a coelecant fish who accidentally landed on a shore. then , we have the latest news that we originated from apes and that there were series of progress from homo hominid (Lucy),to homo habilis, to homo erectus, to homo sapiens, to the neanderthals and now to modern man. No one is sure yet how scientist will call the future man or will there still be another fossil much older than the first that was found.
Like those findings of the scientists, religions also have their own development from paganism, to mythology, to medieval wizardries, to natural phenomena and now to organized religions. Religion is also a science, a science that deals on the unknown, unseen based on feelings and experiences.
Both the science that you think is true and the science of religion still have a vast space available for further understanding. So, never challenge anything as if you know where you are and what is the real truth because just like me, I guess. We are just readers of what we find to be true in our own world of belief.

Scientifically it is impossible to 'prove' a religion to be true.
However, I can point out a correlation between the worship of the Northern Gods and the might of Scandinavia. The end of the Viking Era roughly corresponds with the christianization of Scandinavia. So, historically at least, the Northern Gods were quite pleased with our forms of worship and blessed us.
Either that or the rest of Old Europe was full of wussies.

There is no such scientific proof for a religion belief. belief is not bsed on evidence, therefore it lies totally outside the area of the empirically verifiable and is not what is intended for. Whoever believes does not need a scientific proof to do so.
But let's put this debate on equal terms in this table. I ask you...can you provide a scentific, empirically verifiable proof or argument that irrefutably and convinedly proofs the non-existence of God?

It doesn't have to be prooven scientifically and no one should have to bear such a burden, FOR YOU.
Everyone needs something to believe in. Negativity takes so much hateful energy, why don't you try to come up with a simpler question, like what is it your religion believes in and what gives you comfort from it and why? If there was scientific truth to any of them, it would probably only apply to one of them, which would make all the rest, fake? Who are we to judge what others take comfort in believing?
Who are YOU to need these answers?

religion is based on faith and faith alone, not science. I don't need to prove you that Christianity is the only right religion. But if you want the facts:
Discoveries in astronomy have shown beyond a reasonable doubt that the universe did, in fact, have a beginning. There was a single moment of creation. (You see that, even scientists who are abiding to the evoluton theory are now admitting that it was actually Creation and not Evolution! Funny, huh?)

i dont know what is your religion but i am Muslim
the only problem is that you will have to know good Arabic so i can show you the great thing about the Holly Quraan
so heres what i will tell you:
read our Book and you will find that it talked about alot of experiments from 1400 years ago while people just started to know about it
stuff in space, animals and plants, and even guineas
that doesnt mean that the rest of the religions are wrong but some of them people interfered and made it sound weaker

hi!dear!well, for accepting any kind of religion you have to study&think carefully(sometimes even for some years)about its bases&its history.you have to study the books which tell you about its origin&its beliefs.for example about the question"where will we go after death or what will we do?",different religions have different answers, although many of them aren't against each other but some are in more details&more depth.for every religion exept its holy book, there are some other books which explain it in more details&tell the reasons why for example a particular sentence is said or a rule is made.unfortunately mostly just the ones who want to convert to a specific religion, search about the things I said above, but actually all of us have to search about the religion we have chosen(for example because our parents are practicing that,we can't say that's enough!we have to think about its bases ourselves!).you,my friend, have to search about different religions&also go to people who are experts in the religion you're searching about.&then choose the best.some, choose the easiest!being easy to obey a religion isn't a good reason for choosing it as your religion!be logical&study alot!good luck!if you want more details I'll help.So I mean you can't get your proper answer by me or anybody in here, you have to study &search yourself&ask your questions during search.

Religion means community.
I can prove to you that I live in a Christian community by inviting you over.
But that's not the answer you're looking for. Try rephrasing your question.

I'm Muslim
here are three examples from the Qur'an
1.The likeness of those who choose other patrons than Allah is as the likeness of the spider when she taketh unto herself a house, and lo! the frailest of all houses is the spider's house, if they but knew. "29:41"
The Arabic word used as spider is "Ankabout"=female spider
"she tkaeth unto herself"=female spider
Entemology has proved from only 2 centuries that only female spiders are responsible for building their houses.
2.But nay! I swear by the positions of the stars-and it is a great oath, only if you knew it-that this is a glorious Qur'an, "56:75-76"
Who told the prophet before 1400 years that what we see now is the position taken by the stars millions of years before not the stars themselves?
and also the word "if" in Arabic has three alternatives: "in" "itha" and "law"..the one used in the verse was "law" which denotes denial of the condition "and it is a great oath, only if you knew it"
Which means that God is telling the Arabs at that time that they couldn't know how great that oath was..but we know now.
3.We sent Our Messengers with clear signs and instructions and sent down with them the Book and the Balance so that the people may stand by justice. And We sent down iron which has great strength and other benefits for men. This has been done so that Ailah may know who helps Him and His Messengers, unseen. Surely, Allah is All-Strong, All-Mighty. "57:25"
It was proved that Iron is not originally from the terrestrial elements but it came from outer space:http://www.islamonline.net/English/Science/2002/09/article04.shtml

there is no way to prove religion scientificly. spirituality totaly brakes natural laws. for example if someone is sick and prays to be healed. what causes that person to pray that prayer? FAITH! faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things NOT SEEN. You CAN'T see faith, you CAN see the fruits of your faith but u cant touch it or see it until its been made manifest. Spirit and Flesh dont go together. I cant prove anything that is spiritual through the flesh. the word says flesh and blood cant enherit the kingdom of yah. you have to have an encounter with the Holy Spirit yourself, but you first remove all arrogance and humble yourself
