Your ex has some bad karma coming! But besides knowing that, there really isn't too much you can do. If the new guy doesn't want to hear your side of the story then forget him! He should at least listen before rushing to make a judgement--in this case a WRONG judgement. Sorry this happened!

You move on. If he wasnt even willing to listen to you then he is not worth the effort. Also i'd create a new e-mail address and don't tell your ex about it or anyone that knows him.
