What are her terms for being single and still living with you? Is she free to date, or does she really just want to be single and assess her life? You need to discuss this with her and the possibility of you two reconnecting after a specifc amount of time. Actually set a date, like a month from now, when you will discuss what is still between you. I wouldn't come right out and beg her back--they might make her feel trapped and make her even more want her freedom. Instead tell her that you still care for her and would like to take time too, but to reassess the relationship a month from now. If she is acting like it's over with no possibility to get back together, it's not fair that she keeps you hanging on. You need to make the final break and not let her see you as safety net guy. Good luck.

keep being friends for a while but try really hard to be extra nice and she might realise after a while that youre meant to be together, if that fails, you could just have a talk with her and explain your feelings and say that you feel that 3 and a half years is a lot to have gone through to just end it all suddenly and that you think its a shame to throw something that was so good away.

It's hard for you because you still live together....you are not given the space to get over, the constant reminder is in your face all the time....you have not had the chance to go away and let go, your both in the same environment....of course you will still feel the love for her...make it easy on yourself, and move out.

BELIEVE ME IF A GIRL SAYS THEY WANT TO BE SINGLE IT CAN MEAN THE FOLLOWING:-
- They found someone else
- They are no longer in love with you
- They discovered they are gay
- They think they can do better
- They don't see you as adding to their lives
- They jus think they were happier single than attached
WHATEVER THE CASE MAY BE YOU DON WANNA GO BACK THERE, MOVE ON, START BY MOVING OUT.

well you have to think to yourself is it that she is still around all the time that you miss her or is it because you generally do love her, since you split with your partner you havent given yourselfs time apart to think whether there really is something there that gives you the answer of why you dont want to be with her!
I think you need to really ask yourself do you love her or do you want her because you cant have her but shes always around!
Ive been in that situation and im single now because my boyfriend decided we arent meant to be even though i love him!
If you ever want to chat more just say! i hope you make the right decision sometime soon before it gets too confusing!

i know you probably wont like this but you need to give her, her space. if you wana try 2 get back with her you'd be better off staying good friends (not annoying her about getting back together) and kinda 'rebuild' your relationship. if after a while it still doesn't happen, time without her in your life is definetly needed.

if she wants to be single then why are you tow still living together? i know you two are still hitting the sheets and thats probably why you cant get enough of her. i say move on and bring some "friends" to the house and she will DEFINITELY show you how much she cares

Bide your time and back right off. I suggest you move out-could you bear it if she brought another guy back? After she's been free for a while she may well want you again, but not if you've acted crazy in any way. Be cool.

No matter what you do, if she wants to be single there is no way of changing her mind, women can be stubborn, It's time to cut your losses and move on I know it's hard as I had and a lot of other people had to get on with their lives. Is there anyone else involved?

Start having fun without her. I don't mean jump into bed with the next person you meet but if you look like you don't NEED her to have fun then it may turn things in your favour. This, of course, does assume she hasn't met someone else!
