Getting wasted isn't healthy, productive, fun, or sexy in the eyes of women. It is mainly what guys do when they hang together to prove their manhood and cover the fact that they don't have a lot of women around them. Take your cue from the woman you're with--if she's a light drinker, follow her lead. If she drinks a lot, then unless you are taking a cab, you have to drink light. I personally think alcohol does not make the man.

What are you after a date. You know the answer to this, Girls cant drink so they would prefer a guy who cant either. That's obvious. But if you don't drink do you have problems making friends?

I think they shouldnt drink at all becuz its really not nice for a guy to drink and try to drive her home. The guys that i know are the ones who are more mature and don't drink.

My husband drinks. He did when I met him. He acts the same whether drinking or not. As long as he can get up and function everyday as in working and playing with his kids and being a husband to me, I am fine with it. So far he is doing great.

My last boyfriend (although he hated that word) was a total alcoholic. Its funny at first but then just pathetic. If someone can only have fun when drunk then they're a bit sad really. You sound like you're the opposite and thats brilliant. x

Well babe you are therefore one of these genuine, caring guys thats a gentleman who enjoys a drink but in moderation now i would love a guy like that but where do you find them? You are one of not very many!

I have to say i really don't mind either, just as long as the guy can handle it and does not for stupid or anything.
My boyfriend drinks daily but i don't know about it as if it does affect him than he stops anyway

I prefer social drinkers who may only have one drink or none because he knows he has to drive. I would not want to be with someone who does not care if they kill someone else because they can not control their liquor.

i'd like a guy that drinks when i am drinking, if he couldn't drive home cos he'd drunk too much then so what we'll get a cab.
