The existence of God does not require religion. Religion is made by humanity, which doesn't mean that it does not have value -- it certainly does, and has done much good for the world. But God needs nothing, lacks for nothing, and has no religion.

Yah Weh. "I am."

God isn't religion. Religion means community. God simply IS.

I am Catholic because I love Jesus. He taught the apostles and they founded the Catholic church. What we do is based on his teachings.

Is God Catholic? No. God IS.

When God came and walked this earth, he walked it as a Jew. Is God Jewish? I don't think so. But like Catholicism, he created Judaism. Jesus certainly was Jewish when he walked this earth. Much of Catholicism echos Judaism.

Religion, as I said, means community. Jesus taught that we should band together as a community and take care of one another. So perhaps which religion is not important. Perhaps all that is important is that we love God and love each other.

Religion and Faith are two different things. You can have a very "religious" person who has no faith. That's just sad. Faith is of the utmost importance. Your faith is how you follow God. Am I going to hate you if you're no of my faith? Absolutely not. Jesus wouldn't like it.

I'm sure you believe that God is your religion, whatever that is, so does everyone else lay claim to him as their own. But he has no religion, because to have a religion means you worship a god, and he worships no one. The Biblical God is jealous and demands to be worshipped.

A religion is a system which one believes and follows. Is god/God a follower? Does he follow himself? Does he look up to someone to such a high degree that he follows and obey that person(which he follows)?

If you believe in god/or God, then you do not believe god/God follows a religion, For he/god/God is the way and truth.

God is no religion. religion is an invention of mankind that dates all the way back to the garden of Eden. Adam and Eve were expelled for religious behavior.

God despises religion and he is not hung up on religion and its followers but only individuals whose hearts are for him.

Shalom

IMO...God dose not give a whit about any "religion" all "religion" is man invented... because there is only one True Church. The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head.
