its really awkward but u cant help but look at it!
i really want to say something.... but how do u tell someone they look like they have a beard!???
the thing is, how do u remove it? if u shave it off it will grow back worse and if u dye it a lighter colour ur not really fooling n e one. its still there!

waxing is a really cheap and effective way of removing facial hair. You can either do it yourself or go to a salon. The hair is removed right from the root and often as it is pulled out, the follicle that the hair sits in becomes distorted so when it grows again it will grow through much finer. I have seen excellent results with reduction in facial hair with waxing. Give it a try

Bev,
I'm a woman with a beard and moustache. I have given up shaving and now just tie a pretty pink ribbon on the beard to show how truly feminine i am. Plucking makes you sneeze and shaving makes you into a real man. Waxing might be an answer or electrolysis. I would also like to make the point that Julia Robers waxes her top lip, as do lots of stars, so if you have some CHILL, PLUCK WAX OR something else and DON'T WORRY.

I have a very small amount of facial hair due to poly cystic ovarian syndrome, and I wax it or pluck it out regularly. I hate the fact I have hair there, and if I could afford it I would have laser treatment. I don't have a lot and I never let it get to a state where it could be seen by other people as I am so paranoid about it.

hiya i had quite a bit of facial hair and used to shave or pluck the hairs out but this only makes it worse and thicker. it makes you aware that it is there and it can get irritated and turn into spots. I have been having electrolosis and it really works. Just make sure you use lots of moisturiser after and the little marks disappear after a day. Go for it, it does great things for your confidence when something works and it is permenent!!!!! hope you find something that suits you.

I use Sally Hansen's Hair Removal creme for my upper lip. It doesn't hurt. You put it on and let it sit for a few minutes and then wipe off the hair. Be careful to follow the instructions so you don't chemical burn your skin. You can also use it on your jaw line/cheek area but this is not for eyebrows. You can get a Sally Hansen for that too though. Tweeze any super stubborn hairs.

i suffer from polycystic ovary syndrome which causes my hormones to go into overdrive thus produce facial hair, i must admit i do not get much but its enough to make me feel paranoid so i always use facial hair removing cream for sensitive skin, feels weird afterwards for the first day and then you don't notice it. if i could afford electrolysis i would so have it done, all over!!

Yeah I have some on my lip and a few on my chin, but you should see the bottom of my back lol
I wax my lip and I pluck my chin, My back I have to live with, luckily I have a understanding man who doesn't make me feel bad about it, he calls it Fairy Forest bless!
I wouldn't ever let the hair show to over people, as someone else said, people just wouldn't be able to help looking at it.
This problem is quite common, doesn't worry me anymore and you shouldn't let it worry you either there's lots of things you can do to hide it. xx

i am a beautician and i see lots of ladies with facial hair often embarrassed because of it,some have electrolysis treatment,an effective way of permanent removal,or others have theirs waxed which lasts for 4-6wks. another alternative is laser treatment but can be expensive, what ever option you choose don't be embarrassed, people like myself see it all the time.

i don't actually have much facial hair but if i do i use Jolen a facial hair bleach. my sister uses it too and she finds it very effective. if u don't feel comfortable using this then i would recommend plucking or waxing.
