I've also tried Lomitrn (I hope I spelled it right), and I do my own pedicures. Because I think I started get this when I would go to the Nail shop, I dont think they were sterilizing the utensils.

I know what u are going through, I have the same problem. But I would try more lotions, like apply it 3 times a day every day and also get special foot scrubbies from Wal-Mart or something. I don't think it's athelete's foot, that is more like a fungus...but you may want to see your doctor just in case. That'd be the best thing to do.

If it itches and is a bit maloderous it is probabl foot fungus. Try an over the counter anti fungal cream or spray and wear sandals as often as possible.

If it's just dry and flaky, it may be psoriasis, a skin conditon in which the skin cells reproduce too quickly. In this case I would see a doctor. They can give you some excellent topical prescription medicine.

Good luck.

It does sound like you may have tinea pedis (athlete's foot). Keep your feet warm and dry, dry especially carefully after showers, use some over the counter creams such as lotrimin, tinactin, clotrimazole, etc and apply sparingly twice a day. If it is just dry skin, you need to moisturize. Creams or vaseline at night with clean dry socks will help this condition.

Can't say what it is....but I recently read something tha may help you. Get some vegetable shortening and rub it on your feet, put some heavy socks on and sleep that way.

If it's Athlete's Foot, they will itch horribly.
