Has anybody been to a speed dating event, if so what' s the benfit or are they just a bit of a giggle.?

I know a 30 year old man that wants to try but he his a bit nervous to what goes on. He is single again after a long, long relationship and is ready to get back out their.

I have been a couple of times and it's fun! You need to be able to talk fairly easily tho' 'cos you normally only have 3 minutes before the person moves on. Just remember not to take it too seriously that's all !
