The vodka will lose its percentage proof in relation to the time it is exposed to air. A cheap vodka will not keep as well as a good vodka that has been distilled a few times. I wouldn't risk it, drink it just to be on the safe side - I hate waste.

I guess it would depend on whether you're a social drinker or an alcoholic!
But giving you the benefit of a doubt that this is a legitimate question, I suppose the quality would be good only until the alcohol evaporates, leaving behind a gross by-product of potatoes. (Vodka is made from fermented potatoes, you know.)

If what you want to know is - Does Vodka go bad or spoil, the answer is basically no.
Alcohol is a preservative so it keeps for years, unless it's mixed with cream or other ingredients (like bailys, kaluha, etc).
So, party on!!

to keep vodka fresh, always put it in the deepfreeze.that is the proper way to store it and never ices .you are supposed to drink it straight out of the freezer and dare any one say im wrong, with the influx of russians to israel.we got many good tips from them.did you know that before they drink ,they eat fatty foods or butter to line their stomachs.you will hardly see the effects on these people the next day,i dont drink.but will say le`haim.from mikhal in isreal.

I dont think it goes bad. I mean you may not want to keep it for like 5 yrs or something but I should last a very long time. Good question.

If I'm about, not very long.
Spirits keep indefinitely provided you put the cap back on the bottle. The flavour might deteriorate, but not many people could tell the difference.

Osama, I thought you didn't drink. You have a renal disorder. Not very smart.
Anyway, I would say a couple of weeks if its indoors. Some of the alcohol may well have evaporated.
