I got an invite once from a friend who was having that kind of party. I can't remember the name of the company but when I looked it up on line the prices for the clothing were shocking. I didn't go to the party for that reason. The clothes were cute, but not outstanding, definitely not worth the money they were charging. My mother sews beautifully, smocking and french hand sewing, and the clothes were no where as detailed or as pretty as something my mother could do in a weekend. If you got an invite, try to look up the catalog on line first. That way you can tell if it will be worth it for you to go.

I saw one at a baby faire that I went to last year. They sold like 3 bottoms and 3 or 4 tops and you mixed and matched. They were really cute, but very proud of their items. I don't think the moms I know would go and sit in one of those things and buy clothes. They might go to a party to have an hour or two childfree.

Yes, lots of my friends have had them or attended them. I have avoided it so far because I generally shop for bargains, I am not usually up for spending more than $50 on a little kid's outfit.
