HI ANUJA..

Well u seems to be confused in BF matter..Anyways its not that it happens only with you...so dont feel upset if u feeling so..

Anyways..to have boyfriend at any age is not a matter of conern..but its very important that u should no why u need a boyfriend..becos if just u fel for a time-pass or a fashion then thats very wrong becos., things may go in wrong direction..

So at the age of 17yrs..themost important thing is your career and not boyfriend...let me tell you one thing ..u wont need to search a boyfriend..it happens all suddenly and that time you would realise that Bf is important only when your heart feel for someone..

So if your heart is feeling for someone at age of 17 then theres nothing wrong but be sure that u get the same response else you might end up with disturb mind which in return would upset your studies..I hope you are quite intellegent girl to take your resposibilities first and then personal life..

Its ok to have a bf at 17 provided you have the mental maturity to handle the relationship (coz there are far too many instances of such relationships breaking up sooner than expected). But it isn't necessary. However 17 is a good age to start exploring the man woman relationship. But, your parents' approval is important. You must also know that with a male partner, there always exists the chance of a physical relationship too, however slim. Ask yourself if you are prepared for that. If the answer is yes to all these questions then go ahead. But Hey! You've added that u don't like bfs. So what the heck?

Well my first boyfriend was at 16 but all we did was hold hands.I was too frigid to kiss him.It was a self esteem issue really, I simply thought I'd be no good.I'm only 22 now.I've had a 1 month relationship, a 3month sexual relationship and am currently with a French man(he's 30)which is hard coz I've only spent 2weeks with him as I live in Ireland. I never wanted a boyfriend at all until I saw all my friends around me suddenly had that someone special.I guess I started to feel like I'd be left behind. There is no proper age to have a boyfriend just as long as you're at the legal age for sex.The most important thing is that you feel comfortable with yourself first. Then you can go on to have a happy relationship.

There is no right age to have a relationship
It depends on what you expect or want from the relationship, If you wish for the relationship to be platonic ( no physical contact ) then any age is fine, but if you and your partner do not have issues with sex then Legally speaking you have to be above 18 (otherwise under our Indian laws sexual intercourse with a minor is deemed as RAPE)
Of course If you do share physical intimacy, then insist on protection (condoms)

Seventeen seems like a good age to me. You should start male female relationships at about that age. No you don't have to have a boyfriend.

I was married at 17 1/2 and no I wasn't pregnant. But that was much too young. It only lasted 7 years.

I think the age to have bf should be fixed 15 or 16 years by govt., as fixed 18 years for marriage. She should hav little experience of minimum two years of companionship witj opposite sex.
BUT NOT SEX.

yah 17 is right age to have bf and it is also not necessary to have bf. b'coz life widout silly bf or gf is more beautiful.

b'coz now a days nothing is sold out than sex. If someone wants to be ur bf, he surely liked ur body and wanna have fun but wat about ur inner feelings who will understand that u r not a body but u have heart who also wants to beat for someone, u have a soul who wants to care for someone.

So, I suggest find someone who admires u like u wat u r. Not force u to do wat u don't wanna do. He is perfect for u and if u find him at the age of 2 yrs, u shd make him bf and if u don't find him at the age of 50 also u shd have bf.

Other is ur decision and I would like to leave upto u. So, live life upto mark. Best wishes from best wisher.

its never "necessary" to have a boyfriend or a girlfriend.
17 is fine to be dating but, I wouldn't look at any further commitment until after highschool.
The emotional distraction would cause your studies to suffer.
You have your whole life for dating but, highschool is a one-time deal.
Start out on the right foot and be wise... people will respect you for it.

There is no "right age".

17 is a great age but you can have a "sweetheart" at any age. My cousins little boy who is 3 is always sweet with this one little girl at their camp grounds. He gives her hugs and (this is funny and cute) has picked flowers off the ground and given them to her.

If is necessary to have a boyfriend? No. You don't have to have one but they are nice to have around.
