Eat a serving of dairy a day, in the form of yogurt (low fat or fat free plain with fresh fruit added), limit your breads to low cal or melba toast or 1/2 english muffins and only have 2 servings of this per day. One serving of fats in the form of oil or butter per day. Have 3 GOOD SIZED portions of protien (fish or chicken, 7-8oz servings) eat 4 fruits and 3 vetetable servings every day. With that information, plan your days the evening before and stick to it as best as you can. Spread these foods out durring your day having yourprotiens with veggies or a salad at meal time and eating the fruit and remaining veggie servings for snacks. Try to eat something every 2 or 2.5 hours throughout the day. Cut out fatty dressings on your salads, instead use oil and vinegar. Stay away from already prepared microwave foods. Sodium is a BIG factor, cut it down. Drink plenty of water and try to take a walk 3-4 times a week after school or after dinner.
Don't eat after 7 o'clock at night and get 8-9 hours of sleep per night.
This is a basic following of the LA Weight Loss program. I used it and lost 36 pounds in 4 months. Of course, once you go back to bad eating habits, the weight does find you again. You're young enough to create and stick with healthy eating styles instead of going on diets. Changing your eating habits for good is all that will help you to maintain a healthy body.
NOW if only I could follow my own advice!!!!!

i think you should go to weight watchers, they have something called the core plan, it includes protein, vegetables, some fruit, and grains. you will definitely lose weight from it, and you can eat like that forever. even if you don't need to lose weight, most people would benefit from eating this way. i'm sure that your mom wouldn't object to something like this. just so you know that i do not work for them, but i've found that this is the only thing that's ever worked for me and has kept it off.

I call it easy because I did not diet. I walk while watching TV. I also walk outside at night. It was impossible for me to lose weight since i live to eat.

don't be all couch potatoeish...
run or powerwalk a lot because it helps, it helps burn a lot but you have to be consistent. Walk around the block a couple times a day. have self restraint again all junk food, it's hard i know. Tone muscles instead of building them because if you build them it'll just make you look fatter.
*super off topic*
COLORGUARD IS SUPER COOL.

sounds like your diet is fine. don't eat fried chicken and stick with the fruit. change up the fruit so you don't start getting sick of just eating one fruit. i find that pineapple works well. tastes great and the acidity of the juice helps digestion.
