I used to date this girl like 13 years ago like when I was in the 8th grade(!)...and the last time I saw her was 8 years ago but didn't say anything to her. She was always soo good to me...and for some odd reason she has crossed my mind a lot lately. We didn't go to high school together...so I have no idea how she turned out to be...

I went online and found her phone number and I'm contemplating calling her just to see what she is up to. I'm planning on visiting my parents next weekend and she lives near them...so it's a possibility that we could catch up, get some dinner/coffee and chill out for a little bit before I have to head back.

I realise that she might be dating somebody...so I wouldn't be able to put some moves on her...but I definitely would if she was single!

If she's not single...would it still be cool to hang out with her as friend's only? Do you think she'd find it weird hearing from me after nearly a decade?

I'd call her under the guise of being back in town, she had crossed your mind and you were wondering how her life had turned out. If a guy answers the phone, immediately identify yourself as someone who went to middle school with her so as not to make him suspicious.

You sound like a nice person who would appreciate catching up with a friend regardless of her status.

Well, definetly you must call her, but ask her if she is still single, is she is you can tell her that you will be near soon and if she want to do something is not, you can try invite her and her boy to do something, maybe he can't o and you will have your chance.

But if she is not single I think that is not a good idea invite her alone to do something.

Give her a call, what is the worse that can come of he, she blows you off. On the other hand, you may hit the fireworks. You never know until you try.

Surprised! but absolutely give her a call. At least you will know whether she is single, committed, married, pregnant or whatever.
It you were good friends, you probably will be again.

i think she would love to hear from you even if its just as a old friend. call her up and tell her that you thought about her. women love that a man has thought about them after a long period of time. i would personally be flattered. Call Her!!!!

I think it's ok because you would be visiting in the area and it might be that you've been thinking of her for a reason. Go for it!

Sure, give her a call and go from there...just don't be pushy if she doesn't seem open to re-establishing your association. Good luck!
