This would be from 8:30am - 4:30pm two days/week which is 16 hours a week. Someone wrote $350-$400! That would be $22-25/hour! I'll quit my job if that were the going rate. C'mon!!!!!

I personally wouldnt do any of this 300+ stuff it would be cheaper to put the kids in day care for those 2 days.

Depends on if the 2 year old is still in diapers. I have one turning 3 the first week in january and a 2 n 1/2 month old. When she turns 2 months old I have someones thats going to baby-sit the kids for 6 bucks an hour, minimum wage is 5.15 so i thought it was fair. Any more then that then i might as well not work those two days personally.

BTW- I also live in the midwest.

for sure your tax man or woman is going nuts. The $1800 rule is a tax loophole designed to shop taxpayers criminal at the same time as they employ an occasional babysitter and do not comprehend they are meant to pay fica/mc/futa/suta, and so on. For a taxpayer who has no workers making more advantageous than $1800, they don't even ought to get an EIN. Your sister's magnificent idea that she'd use a variety 941 rather of agenda H tells the IRS she isn't using the numerous different and children worker regulations. Even the instructions for the variety 941 say to no longer use the variety for significant different and children workers. Your sister can report a 941-X and upload a lengthy letter of rationalization that she used the incorrect variety and needs the money decrease back. If she receives the refund, then she will be ready to pay off you. BTW, if she doesn't get the money decrease back, she might want to project you a W-2. A W-2 is amazingly functional in the shape you declare EIC.

I would offer $195.00. 2 kids under 3 is gonna be a lot of work to take care of especially an infant. But, it should also depend on her experience. I'd wouldnt offer more than $250 if she isnt okay with the first offer.

Nannies in the midwest (I am a nanny in MN and know several in MN/WI) typically get/ask for 12-18/hour. What you're willing to pay will effect the quality of nanny that you'll find. In childcare, you often get what you pay for.

If she has to prepare meals and put the kids to bed I would say $350-$400.
