I'm Vietnamese!!!!!!! Except that my last name is Pham.

the Ng is pronouned like the last part of long.say this part short and fast
uyen
pronounced weein (wee as in a good time like weeeee
and in as in inside the en should be accented up)
huynh
well you got that right (hwinn) but make the accent go down
for example in robot, the bot part is accented down, same here

Ok. I'm Vietnamese, and my full name is Nguyen Ngoc Phuoc Thien. In Vietnamese, Nguyen is my last name, Ngoc Phuoc is my middle name and Thien is my surname. I can rewrite my name in US-UK standard name: Thien Ngoc Phuoc Nguyen. Vietnamese and English have some differences.

My father always told me to pronounce our last name Huynh like the number one.

I used to work with a man with the last name Nguyen. We pronounced it like Win. I don't know about the other name. Sorry.

I know that Nguyen is pronounced as "when." We have a surgeon at our hospital by that name. He's rather good too. I'm not sure how to pronounce the other name. Sorry.
