Can anyone please explain why creationism makes sense to them, in logical and fact based terms?

If you're asking what got it all going in the first place, insinuating that it was G*d, then how did G*d get there to begin with? I'm guessing you will say that we cannot wrap our minds around his eternal nature....but if you can, please try and explain beyond that.

Two things.
I thought according to the Bible the earth was only around six thousand years old? So how does the 30,000 or even 10,000 year change occur?
Also....if you're going to site studies and scientific discoveries to back up your answer then please actually explain the facts of the study. My question is looking for facts....not rhetoric.

Sure just look at the nature of cause and effect.
No event will occur without sufficient cause. That's pretty simple right.
OK now follow that model backwards. All the way to the beginning of time.
What was the first cause?
What got it all going in the first place?
If there is no beginning to time, then we would have effect (the universe existing)without cause (a force to create it)
Which would in turn invalidate cause and effect as a determine force in the universe.
Are you still with me?
Also think about this, what intelligence separates one event from another?
Who is to say this is one event, and that is another event.
That would require a form of intelligence.
There's a lot more, but you will either get this stuff or you wont.
I didn't get Jesus Christ until he forced his way into my life.
I mean forced. Pray for him to enter into your life on his terms and he will (ask and ye shall receive, knock and it shall open, seek and ye shall find)
I hope he enters yours.
Bye
I'm glad I checked back.
Causeality is a model describing events in the universe which makes a linar correlation between events. (humans looked at the world and made up a stystem based on what we saw)
We didn't create anything, things are what they are.
Think about this, If the univerise wasn't created by an inteligence and just formed out of chaos, then secience would be unable to function. All events would be random, and no two experments could have the same result. The fact that secince/math works (atleast as good as they do) is proof that there is a inteligence organizing the universe allowing the human mind to reconise its patters and perdict outcomes.
As for describing god...............
No way. No human can understand god. He only showed a part of himself to Moses and thats it, we cant handle it. To know god as men we must know Jesus. Jesus said if you have known me then you have known my father, no one sees the father exept through me. I know Jesus and I'm am honored to do his work on earth.

A hypothetical ,untestable complicated model of a super universe is the only alternative belief in God.Such belief is not based on science, since science requires that hypotheses be testable, but is based solely on the hope or belief that there is no personal God to who we will be accountable.Even evolutionists now admit that such ideas amount to nothing more than metaphysics. The evidence of design in the universe and biology is so strong that Professor Anthony Flew,a long time debater for atheism, renounced his atheism and now believes that the existence of a Creator is required to explain the universe. Here are some qoutes of his:
"I had to go where the evidence leads."
"The argument to Intelligent Design is enormously stronger than it was when I first met it."
"It now seems to me that the findings of more than 50 years of DNA research have provided materials for a new and enormously powerful argument to Design."
"It has become inordinately difficult even to begin to think about constructing a naturalistic theory of the evolution of that first reproducing organism."
"It seems to me that the case for an Aristotelian God who has the characteristics of power and also intelligence is now much stronger than it ever was before."

Today, the evidence against abiogenesis is stronger than ever. The revelation of creation from the Bible is being confirmed with the advancement of science.Studies published over the last few years have demonstrated increasing numbers of problems associated with the Theory of Evolution. These studies have been done by scientists who belive in the Theory.Studies have shown that neanertals were not ancestral to modern humans.A recent study has also demonstrated that reptiles disappeared and the giant carnivorous dinosaurs replaced them within a period of less than 10,000 years of the Triassic-Jurassic boundary, and only 30,000 years after the last Triassic Taxa, which were eliminated by a mass extinction, probably due to an asteroid collision. The rate of evolution of these dinosaurs is almost beyond belief, but it fits into the Creationist beliefs.

So,I admit when I'm wrong.I was against scientific study, because it seemed misleading in it's information, but by all means, continue the studies and research, because the longer it is studied, the more proof seems to pop up that there IS a God,and He did create the universe.I just have to wonder what excuse will be used then not to believe in God,because science is definitely on it's way to proving God's existence.I guess science will be thought of as"dumb, brainwashed, lunacy, illogical, etc.,all the things believers are being called.

it extremely is totally almost completely American or exported from usa the place jointly as something of the more suitable worldwide have been modernising and convalescing training usa grew to become into going interior the direction of the frontier days the place charlatoon pretend preachers made money by way of introducing firebrand faith of their own invention! Christian Fundamentalist is an entire contradiction in words! CHRISTIAN – A follower or believer in Jesus. FUNDAMENTALIST one that believes the Bible is relatively actual and can desire to be accompanied precisely. hence they're followers of the bible and not Jesus making them non Christians! yet worse is to stick to it additionally makes them ideologists. IDEOLOGY an thought that's fake or held for the incorrect reasons yet is assumed with such conviction as to be irrefutable. So Christians have a loving and forgiving god and fundamentalist - nicely - merely at the instant are not Christians!

Your zeal is commendable, though I discern it is somewhat misdirected. Thank you for your invitation to answer your question. It appears to me, however, from your various other posts and even your question here, that your mind is pretty well made up and you don't believe anyone can sufficiently answer your question as to prove the reality of Creationism.

You may be correct as God has obviously chosen to reveal only certain aspects of His Creation, just enough to keep us pondering, even with all the fact-based scientific discoveries he always leaves just enough unsaid as to keep dragging us back to the same question: "Do you have faith in Me, that I am God?"

My opinion matters not on an issue of faith which is what is really being called into question here. Therefore I leave you with these words spoken by Jesus Himself as he addressed not only the "doubting Thomas" of His day, but all the doubting Thomas' of ages to come.

We see in the Book of John, Chapter 20, verses 25-31

25The other disciples therefore said to him, "We have seen the Lord!" But he said to them, "Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe."

26 After eight days again his disciples were inside, and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, the doors being locked, and stood in the midst, and said, "Peace be to you."

27 Then he said to Thomas, "Reach here your finger, and see my hands. Reach here your hand, and put it into my side. Don't be unbelieving, but believing."

28 Thomas answered him, "My Lord and my God!"

29 Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen, and have believed."

30 Therefore Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book;

31 but these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name.

I hope these words can give you a peace that surpasses all [human] understanding, that you might rest assured in your Creator's arms that you were knit in your mother's womb for a purpose and that purpose was known by Him before the beginning of all Creation.

God loves you.

My version of creationism (which includes evolution btw) makes sense because of the fragility of the system and the intricacy of the development. Higher intelligence just screams from nature, it makes natural sense to me.
