Why would Allah want men to know that "most of hell is woman"?

This is mainstream Islam, in other words, most Muslims you ask about this will not deny its truth. In my experience, the most common reaction from Muslim woman is that they try to make a joke out of it or use it as some type of affirmation of their significance.

Why would Allah want men to know that mostly woman are going to hell? I mean, forget the absolute absurdity of this, on its face, lets just consider why Allah would even reveal this at all? I mean, does he want men to feel greater license to do wrong? Men do 99.99% of all murder right...

these revelations fly in the face of reality and is further proof that he is uninspired. If we want to look at this logically, lets look at the facts. You are almost right 93% of murders not counting war crimes is committed by men. All you hear about are the 7% of murders done by women.
Most men go to war and fight but we can say that isn't there fault.
Let's just go to spiritual questions and ethical questions.
Both religions say that homosexuality is a sin. 95% of them are men. 97% of pedofiles are men. More women donate to charitys 10 to 1. More women go to church, more women do volenteer work to help the sick and poor. If you have a daughter the nursing homes will tell you that 10 to1 daughters visit their sick and ageing parents more than sons do.
when financial problems drive the family into bankruptcy there are times when the man abandones the family. Rarely even though she makes less does the women do that.
Most men commit adultry compared to a minority of women and usually it is after the man does it first.
But to keep power over women and make them feel inferior who would inspired that? would it be God? When he clearly stated
"Treat your wife as your own body, feed and cherish it."
Do you see anything similar to that in the quaran?
the closest I saw was, "treat your cattle and your women good and they will produce for you" So the most they can hope for is to be treated as good as his cow. That is why that religion is from the devil. God never inspired that book.
