he loves to hear me talk,we know how to tease each other and make each other laugh,we really enjoy each other and are affectionate and playful.I give him long hugs and rest my head on his chest. I told him a while ago I kinda liked him and he said the same to me(he's 18 and never had a g/f b-4).I know he really cares for me, he said I'm pretty and I asked if I am still special and he said yes :-D he responds well to my flirting and is comfortable with me asking him questions and telling him how much I like him, like I say I can't stop smileing when we talk, he makes me dizzy( in a good way) and I'm glad he's legal(I am a few years older than him). he always used the big :-D smiley face,even when I gave him a kissey smile face.Should I ask him now if he likes anybody now and go from there to see if there could be an "us"?

It sounds to me like he spends a lot of time with you. I would play it out, you guys are old enough now where you don't need the formal "Will you go out with me?" question. In my experience you are dating. But....IF you are still unsure then just ask him where you guys are, just so you know how to act when you guys are in public or with your parents or something. I am sure that if you just be honest and ask, you will get an honest answer.
