Yep, you're right. It's amazing how hard men will work to get your attention and love if you don't chase after them. It's amazing how much men enjoy doing it. Why deny them the pleasure of working hard to win you? Then they see you as a prize, rather than something unwanted that caught them. A lot of women haven't learned this, and go around wanting to "make" a man like them by calling and inviting and sleeping with them and all that.
Don't chase boys, as I always say.

Why do man think it's okay to pursue a woman?

Because it is okay...guys get tired of ALWAYS having to be the aggressor and ALWAYS being the ones to risk rejection...
This is the new millenium...women no longer have to wait for a guy to make the first move...
Not all women run when men pursue them...not all men run...those that do (if they are actually interested) are simply playing games and not worth ones time.

I think it is because...SOME men do not want to get rejected by SOME women that they are interested in so they don't pursue them. And until somebody makes the first move, than it will not happen! I don't think there is anything wrong with it. Just be careful and if the guy/ or gal is not interested, than move on!

I am a woman who does not and will not pursue a man lol I know most people are probably gonna say something negative about it. I will let someone know I'm interested but the rest is up to them.

I'm going to assume you don't have a man..... I am very secure and independent. I have no problems going up to a man that I am attracted to and giving him my number. Every guy that I have done this too has been so happy that I had made the first move. And has had more respect for me for doing so.
Sorry to say, but I'm not to sure what world you live in or the type of men you attract.

it is okay to pursue a man to certain point. i don't think going after married men or men that are dating is good, but i have pursued a man before. he wouldn't have approached me on his own. he said he didn't think i was his type because i am so independent and successful on my own. sometime we women have to go after what we want or we will sit back and get nothing. this is year 2006 not 1950.

Depends on who is involved. Some men like to be chased. Some woman like to pursue. Whatever works and to each their own! :)

Why do you feel that it's about a chase? Children chase, grown-ups come out with their feelings and allow the chips to fall where they may. I have known women who have let their interest be known and it has turned out quite positive...matter-of-fact, I'm one of them and my fiance and I are happily raising our 5 month old together.

Next time a girl compliments you by hitting on you, maybe you should have a sit down with the WHAT DO I DO RETARD.
Even though I am married, I love it when a woman hits on me. It is a great compliement. Weclome to the age of enlightenment!
