I have had a lot of breast tenderness with my pregnancy, but have had friends who had none or a little in their second and third trimesters.

I have always had breast tenderness when I could have children and even now when I can't have them anymore. I drink coffee. My gynocologist said that coffee will cause swelling. It makes the glands in my breasts swell and feel like lumps. I had to have a mamogram to make sure they are not cancerous. Fortunately they are just ducts that have become clogged for some reason.

Totally varies from woman to woman. I had absolutely NO tenerness whatsoever, my best friend however did. I've came over to her house before and she was laying on the couch holding her breast and crying because they hurt so bad, so hopefully you don't have it that bad :)

NO-- it happens to all pregnant women due to the fact that it is making room for the milk for the baby
