I'm embarrassed, or ashamed, about my thoughts about getting my back hair waxed. I'm almost 50 years old and can't figure out why I should give a dam about what others think of me, but I do. What do waxers and receptionists think when a middle aged man comes in for back hair waxing? What is my wife going to think of me? I'm supposed to be strong and secure in my masculinity.

I am a licensed Esthetician and I wax plenty of backs. Boxers, bodybuilders, priest, all sots of men. We don't judge we just try to help you feel better about yourself. Women are perfectly secure with themselves but we still get waxed all over. It just helps us feel better. Use Tend Skin to prevent bumps and ingrown hairs, if you aren't allergic to asprin.

If your wife doesn't mind your hair, why should you? Ask her what she thinks.
One thing to keep in mind though: As you get older your skin becomes thinner. If you do decide to get your back waxed, research the types of wax used, and make sure the person doing it is experienced with all skin types. I seen an inexperienced girl use the wrong wax on an older client and rip off a very large patch of skin.

I think you should go for it, personally I don't like hairy men. Besides you would be surprised what waxers have to see everyday, it probably wouldn't think twice about it. There is nothing wrong with you wanting your back waxed.

Body hair isn't the only thing that makes a man masculine. Plus, those people have seen it ALL, probably worse than what you have, they're immune to it. Besides, they'll be happy to wax you because they like the money you give them for it.

if i could tell you sumin well if you wanna be strong do it. it hurts so bad. well if you do it. your wife will surly know that you yourself are a brave and couragous man. go for it . :) just warning you any kind of waxing hurts. trust me.
