Something that always gets the attention is an Elvira costume. The guy could be your Frankenstein!
If that is abit much, then a Snow white costume, but this one is sexier. The guy can be the woodsman!

Here's an idea: You could get dressed up as juliette while your BF or husband dressed up as Romeo. I don't know about sexy, but it would be so romantic. That's what I think.
