That is the way to pay taxes and tithing right? Which ever fish has a coin in it, belongs to them.

Just tell the pastor to go to the lake and catch a fish, and your tithes will be in the fish's mouth. If he doesn't want to do it, or fails to catch the magic fish, that's his problem.

first off your church shouldn't be on your case about tithing because YOU are supposed to willingly give God 10% of your earnings... key word- willingly- God requires this of you as His child and will therefore continue to bless you... you don't think your tithing is going to right use because of your church then maybe you should give to a charity

Not going works. Leaves more time for fishing too from what I hear.

Just give them one tenth of the fish you catch then, or one tenth of the money you get from selling the fish you catch.

(and yeah, that story was just about taxes).

If you don't want to support the church then leave it. Why do you even go?
