I want to know if there are, especially, people in their 20s and older who want to wait until marriage.

Totally, I am 26 and still waiting...it gets harder every year, especially in a culture where people are having sex on the first date regularly and you are inundated every 15 seconds with sex. It can be discouraging also when you are dating someone and the only reason they won't continue dating you is because you won't put out. I just imagine how special it will be on my wedding day to give my husband the ultimate gift. And how much money I am saving by not having to buy contraceptives, STD tests, prescriptions, and pregnancy/abortion test. In a high costs of living area that is a lot of money every year. Don't listen to those people who make fun...they are just jealous because deep down inside they wish they would have waited too. There is nothing "fun" about waking up and not knowing who is next to you or whether you are going to die from a contracted disease you got for a half-priced martini.

I am a virgin. I'm 25. I'm going to be 26 really soon. There have been times where I've wanted to lose my virginity. The only thing that has held me back is realizing the guy didn't love me. I think once I had sex with someone, I would fall in love with them. But seriously, I want to wait until I'm married.

If you have to know, yes....I'm a virgin, and nearly 42. That's right, I'm almost a 42 year young virgin. Maybe this would explain why I'm so cranky most of the time. I promise you I'm NOT kidding! >:(

I was a virgin till I got married. I always thought of only one girl and I married her. I think not only women but even guys who sleep with different women are called whores. Like a woman does not like being called a whore, I don't.

Yes, there are still some. I waited until I was 25+ and finally got married. My wife appreciated me waiting too. It can get extremely difficult, but I think it's always the best and safest and most honorable option.
