At least a couple of weeks. It's a shame, isn't it, that so many places are testing for it when in fact, it ought not be illegal. It's like they want any excuse to eliminate certain people, whether it is a fair reason or not. If you get 100 applicants, you can whittle them down (unfairly, in my opinion) by insisting they all take a pee test. They either refuse or fail it in sufficient numbers to reduce the work load. Lazy, ain't it? I suppose, however, that if I were hiring drivers, I'd have to admit that would be valid: not so much because it really does reduce their effectiveness behind the wheel, as that the insurance company would very likely use that as a reason to deny any claims.

Depends on how much you smoke, hair test can detect it up to a month or so. Urine will show up to a week. So stay clean for at least a few to be safe.
There are also drink that DO work and a hair shampoo that worked for someone I know.
Honest though....stopping it all together is easier and more stress free then fretting about it. Been there done that...left it in my past. (not saying that i don't miss it, but life has been easier)

It can be detected in a hair test for 3-6 months. In urine, it can be detected up to 4 weeks. It also depends on how much you have smoked.
