That IS very interesting, and could be perhaps, part of the punishment. What we do know from scripture is that he will be in a lake of fire for eternity; as for other emotions he's experiencing, the Bibles is silent. Very thought provoking, though....

God created a literal burning hell for the devil and his angels and because mankind became a sinner go their if they reject what the Lord Jesus Chris did on the cross. He died for the sins of the world, He was buried and took all that would believe and trust in that, sins away and He rose again the third day so we can stand just before God. One day God will judge those that are in hell for what they done on the earth and then they will be cast in the lake of fire to be tormented forever. Revelation 20: 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. Revelation 20: 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Revelation 20: 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

There is no credible basis from which to surmise that such a place even exists, let alone what it might be like if it does. It sounds like you are really asking if your concept of hell is more just than the concept you've heard about from others.
No concept of hell other than anihilation serves any purpose. On earth, the purposes of justice are; compensation to victims, behavioral modification, isolation of dangerous individuals. A spiritual hell would not accomplish either of the first two, and for the third, there is no purpose is having the isolated individual exist anymore.

Good question.
As I understand hell, it's a place where God's presence is non-existent...it's described as a place of torment and the gnashing of teeth. Think of it this way...it was a place that was actually created for Satan and his demons...no human was intended to go there. But unfortunately, many will, so it's probably either a huge place, or severely over crowded.
Either way though, God is the judge, and trusting Him in this situation is essential.
As for going to hell a child and experiencing the same, according to research, many who become child-rapists actually were raped as children. So technically, many are already living that hell in the eyes of a raped child.

The "burning in fire" is figurative. A lot of the Bible is figurative, it was Greek influence that makes everyone so literal. Anyway, burning is just a literary device for torment of a horribly painful nature. I think what actually happens it the sufferer is made to realize what he actually did (feel the guilt and self hate that a normally working conscience would provide, as well as realizing what you have done to another person.) Considering God omniscient, just, and merciful I am sure that what ever the reality is, it will be what is deserved.

No sin is greater than any other and only the salvation of Jesus Christ can spare you from hell. Hell is not payback for the wrong that a person has done in his/her life. Hell is the alternative to heaven. When we die there is only one of two places we can go- Heaven or Hell and where a person ends up is simple cause and effect. If you choose a life that follows Christ you will be with Christ in the afterlife. If you choose not Christ you will not be with Him in the after life.

Being apart from God for all eternity is the worse form of punishment, and that is what hell is about. Keep going, and you will find out. Numbers 6:24

i do no longer belong to any prepared faith. by no skill have and by no skill will. For me the actual heaven or hell is the only we are living in our souls jointly as we are alive. a individual who acts incorrect and is immoral and acts badly.... is his own worse punishment. What occurs after actual dying... that's a secret and a rely of religion for all persons. no person has come back to let us know approximately it. For me, God, the better creature, despite the fact which you or something of mankind might call it.... i think of is in general that private stuff, busy with different issues lots greater significant that our sins or the way we are living our life. i've got faith all of us know what's incorrect and wright and we prepare our young ones for this reason. we've the ability to go with. all of us know why we do it. My youngsters have been raised that way and that they've familiar all the significant social and ethical values, regardless of their no longer belonging to any church, yet out of actual expertise no longer out of outrage of hell. I honestly have by no skill in my life threatened my youngsters with hell or issues like that and who ever does this variety of concern is a moron. If every physique could make an effort and the affection to sit down together with his youngsters and clarify issues relatively.. . use the ability of training and love.....i'm valuable youngsters are like sponges and can be stable persons in a while via fact they like to, no longer via fact they're afraid.

I think the pain, agony, and terror of hell will surpass anything that we can imagine. I just read a book called "23 Minutes in Hell" and it was an eye-opener.
