I'm not sure what all that jargon means either.
I guess it means someone put it on a website and they checked it out. They found the nut who did it and they think no attack will take place - it was just talk.
The government's in a tough spot. If they publicize a phony threat they appear to be fearmongering. If they are ever shown to have had advance warning of something that happens, and they ended up not sharing it, there will be hell to pay.
The government is not fearmongering. Truth is, they don't know so much more than the rest of us. That's why it's called terrorism - it's hard to know what to do to defend against.

I believe Alquida plans a big attack. We need to pray to God for Divine protection, guidance & assistance. We can't just let them do it.
It has been prophecied that there won't be any more successful terrorist attacks like 9/11, but that doesn't mean we need to ignor warnings. We need to take action.
Mz4X4,
When terrorist actually attack they try to dress like average Americans.
Also there was a warning of the attempted attack on 8/10. Someone on yahoo said that Islam had something big planned on 8/22 (9/11 9-1=8, 11+11=22 but when it did happen it was 9-1/11-1) (9+1/ 11+11 = 10/22) Though they could attack any day.

I think it's scary as hell, and i'm glad one of the alleged targeted cities was not in Detroit; although that may be the most action Ford Field sees all year. But i hope security is beefed up nation-wide and no towel-heads are allowed in the stadiums.

I thought the bomb-the-NFL-stadium-plot is generally understood to be a Republican party Wag-the-Dog tactic. You know, the old get the electorate worked up about terrorist threats ploy.

I think its scary, and sad. No, they say they weren't corroborated, but felt the need to let everyone know, just to be on the safe side.
