I used to be a hairstylist, so I think I have some good advice. Stay away from any ash or beige bases when you put another color on top of this. It is safe enough to color your hair again, but be cautious. Get the next level down (judge by looking at the box color), I usually use Nice 'N Easy as I really like the blonde shades. Use a medium golden blonde, I think it'll darken it a bit and get the platinum look gone. If you want it to last a while, then I recommend going even darker as it will fade out over shampoos. Go a dark golden blonde. Especially if you are in a new job situation. It'll work, I'm pretty confident. Like I said, I've been there. What I would really do, is go back to the hairdresser and say you are not happy with the color and you expect her to fix it with no additional costs (it might work depending how ethical the salon she works for). Good luck either way!

Depending on the state you live in you should be able to have the salon fix the problem if you returnm within 7 days of the original service.
As for at home coloring be careful. Lightened hair tend to be fragile and dry. Go to Sally Beauty Supply and look for a temporary color that's only a few shades darker than what you have.. You may want to go temp with the color until the blonde grows out.

I appears that your hairdresser has used way too much bleach on your hair. That said, you need to have patience and make your hair healthy and strong first. Try treating your hair to a combination of Mayo, eggs and olive oil on a weekly basis. Then use a Loreal highlighting kit or a Garnier highlighting kit to mix in a new shade within your hair color. Good luck!

You can go back and complain and have them fix it,but I wouldn't blame you if you didn't want to go back there. They screwed you up once,so who knows what they would do a second time. I think you should go to a beauty supply store and get a toner to put on,that should take the yellow out. Redken shades EQ works good. Stay away from ash shades, ash can turn you hair green or gray. Good luck

Go back to the salon and say your extremely upset. And pretend to start to tear in the eyes while talking to the person at the counter. Say that it's not the color you wanted at all and start to tear up and get all flustered.

Hey girl, Most salons will fix your hair for free. The same thing happened to me but I didn't leave the salon until it was fixed.Go back and just tell them how you feel they should offer to redo your hair.
