My father. My father told me ... Barbara you can do anything you set your mind to. Granted there may be some limits do to physical stregnths but that still leaves you with a whole lot of opportunities at your disposal.

He never saw my gender as an impedance learning how to work on cars, how to take down trees with a chain saw and how to play sports with the boys. He gave me the confidence to do what I wanted without letting others try to tell me what my limits should be.

The greatest influence over me would be my children. My son with his go getter attitude teaches me how to be even stronger, and my daughter with her creative imaginative thinking, I learn how to open my mind, and dance with the faries in her world. They have been guides for me,but I do not rest my existance upon them, I only allow them to be the mirrors of life. They are truly beautiful, and have so much to teach us, but yet you cannot teach somone who knows everything(hence adults who believe children should be seen not heard) My children have taught me that no matter what happens in their lifes, that they have their own path as individuals, and should be respected. Because of them I applie this to every aspect of my life.
Thank you for letting me share, I wish you well

Jesus. He comes to this crap hole. He teaches them love, he heals, he provides food what do they do to him? They crucify Him that's what. Thankfully he doesn't stay dead he rises from the grave. He gives those crap people a chance to be forgiven. He allows their wickeness to be wiped away. How do we treat him? Like crap. What does he do? He shows us He still loves us and wants us to know him.
People always ask the question if He's real why doesn't he get us out of this crap hole? He did it on the cross, and what did we do to him? Its not him thats wrong its us.
Can you see why he is my greatest influence, even if you struggle to believe you got to admit He's pretty cool.

The greatest influence on my life has been stimulated from God; reading the Bible. Chronologically; Joseph, Moses, Jesus and Paul; have been inspirational. In each case, these men of God; has been with the exception of Jesus; illustrated God's forgiveness, influence, love, building characteristics in fragile bodies we posses. The Bible allows me the appreciation of God, and the detest for those who argue in the name of God; overwhelmed with greed, lust and lies.

One man in history taught people the following,
Love God,
Love your neighbor,
Love your enemy.
He also taught his listeners to treat others as you would have them treat you. He drew people to wisdom and helped them to reason on the scriptures not just blindly instructing them to do as his said. He was peaceable to his death and he sets the finest role model if only mankind would listen. By now you probably have guessed, Jesus Christ.

Do not judge this man or his teaching based on the actions of those who claim to follow him. Read for yourself in the bible books of Matthew - John.

My husband for accepting me just as I am. And he has been a catalyst for ideas in my life.

My parents for just being there all these years.

A lady who used to live across the street from me, Joan. Joan is a religious fundamentalist fanatic. Listening to her made me even more positive that I may be right. I do not dislike Joan. If she called me because she needed my help, I would go help her. We decided to agree to disagree years ago.

The kids who bullied me at school. I learnt the valuable lesson that taking care of yourself was the main priority, but the scars of bitterness and resentment are with me for life.
