Here is the thing. I don't believe in God at least I don't believe in the God I learned about in Church way back when I was small, all that long, long time ago, but maybe, I'm still a little bit afraid of him.

Anyway, I think you are okay on the $3 thing, because if he exists, then he paid you back in life many times over. But if he doesn't exist then you can't really say he owes you $3. It's like that old saying, don't take any $3 bills (or was that wooden nickles? Maybe it was both). If you gave God a $3 bill, you might have thought you were conning God, because you passed him a phony $3 bill (oh yeah, it was as phony as a $3 bill and don't take any wooden nickles, but you get what I mean), but if it turns out that God doesn't exist, then didn't he kind of con you? Because if God doesn't exist, then he got away with a $3 bill you'll never get back, because you can't say someone who doesn't exist owes you anything!

I think that's clear enough.

How can people talk about God like this, are you sick? I mean are you ignorant to the point where in 2006 you don't believe in Him? read some medicine or physiology books man, or astronomy, you'll be glad you did. And you'll regret what you said. Seriously, what makes you think that He doesn't exist? Did you look at the fona and flora and how exceptionally harmonious the biotop and biocenosis perform? Have you looked at how one sperm and one ovule forming one cell gives you all the tissues in the body? Did you know or understand how mineral water is in the middle of an ocean and the waters don't mix? how would YOU, smart man, explain this?
My advice, get your act together before it's too late.

I am not sure about the $3.00, but I definitely love God.

Fearing God is a bit more confusing. Fear in ancient times meant respect. I definitely respect God, but I do not fear God in today's definition of fear.

Take care,
Troy

Love Yes. Hate no. Fear, how and why? Respect yes.

What is has promised me is a life time of trials and struggles, Got them. Jesus promised that people would hate me because of my belief in him, got that to.

I was told that the fruits of the spirit would be things like peace, love joy, happiness. Guess what that are not the things that I get for my faith but they are the things the others around me will see and recieve from me if my faith is real. See these things are not what I recieve for faith but give because og faith. Strange isn't it that the promise of what I will get is bad and the things that I give others is good. Kinda seems backwards to man doesn't it.

Funny thing is these very things are what drive me more in to my faith instead of away from it.

What say you?

first of all your a cheap ***! God gave you life and you're asking for 3 bucks hahah he should just take away all he has given you...and how sad that you call him old.. God has no age he is omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient....and much much more

And he is probably sad at how you feel about him...dont worry when you are hit hard with lifes troubles then you will come to him and he is so ever merciful he will forgive you...

God is LOVE, and first loved me. Therefore, I love Him. Since He said we are to love our enemies, I even love you, pray for you and hope that some day they will come up with a successful operation to get your head out of your *ss.

I don't believe in such childish fantasies.Perhaps theres only one god.Satan.Because theres so much evil in this world,if there was a god of peace,he's not doing a very good job of maintaining the balance.

Love, hate or fear... no. I guess I'm kind of indifferent really. Maybe he exists, maybe he doesn't and I'm content to know the truth after death. Til then, I will live my life for those I love and care about.
