Every thing for this invention is already used for different application; I would be pulling the application together and using it for dentistry.

You could contact an established dentist if you can interest him/her in your concept.
BUT,FIRST: Get a Confidentiality Agreement in order to protect yourself.

Time of agreement is usually 10 years from the date.
You may at least learn if it is feasible. You also may be able to contact a Dental College.

Patent may be a different matter. Sounds like an improvement or another use on existing products. You may need an attorney for that.

Good luck.

ALWAYS GET A PATENT ON YOUR IDEA FIRST. If you don't someone could steal it. Without knowing exactly what your idea is, it's hard to say who to speak with first. I mean you contact a dental supplier if it's materials for the dentist to use, maybe a dentist himself, or a specialist such as a perio or a ortho, it all depends. I would suggest starting out by contacting a dental professor from a reputable college or university then go from there. There may be grants to do trials on your invention if that's what's needed to getting it approved for usage.

Good luck to you!

Ask your dentist if the thing makes sense. If so, contact the R&D department of a major dental manufacturer. Your dentist could also name several of them. Parkell is sort a smaller independent and they are always soliciting ideas for new products. http://www.parkell.com §

it will be useless if you don't have a dental background. hate to be the one to tell you that but 99% of dental technology comes from dentists. the other 1% comes from someone that a dentists asked to make something.

Speak to the patents office. (UK)
It is not cheap to have a patent applied to an invention, they have to research to make sure you are not breaking someone Else's copyright.
Maybe a good idea to speak to a dentist you can trust not to steal your idea.

First you would want to talk to someone in the dental field about the practicallity of this item. Then find out where your local patten office is and talk to them.
