What worked (somewhat) with my little one was to stop playing and disengage the minute the play becomes too rough. Maybe use a firm NO at the same time. She loves to play, and she has started to figure out that when she hurts me, the game stops.

I am having the very same problem with my little guy, Duffers. I have found that he likes to attack my hands and arms when he thinks it's his playtime. Like your kitty, mine has many toys, too, but he wants me to play with him, so I do. Lately, however, he has decided to wake me in the middle of the night with his arm attack, because he wants to play some more. I use a spray bottle with just water, and when I say NO, firmly, and he doesn't stop, I warn him that he's about to be sprayed, then I give him a quick spray to the face. he doesn't like that at all, but he is still young and learning. When I get ready for work in the morning, we play for a few minutes, but when I have to stop, he gets to attacking the arm again. I have found that cologne on my arms stops the attack cold, and I may try that at night, too.
Good Luck to you! (And your little guy!)

use a spray bottle with water in it. if you add some olive oil, like 1/2 tea spoon, and dont spray in their eyes.

other than that, we used to put hot sauce on wires and stuff the cat would chew thru, and she still did it.

talk to the vet to see whats safe to use.
