vivekanand said that religion is God-realization and i believe that. that means that most of us are not religious because we are not self-realized souls. But how many of us believe that God can be seen? even our scriptures say that God is within us.

People have seen Jesus over the last 2000 years. To be a true apostle you are to have seen Jesus.
But most of the time our knowing God comes through the indwelling of the Holy Ghost.

You could see God if you wanted to, but then you'd burn up or maybe your hair turns white. Anyway, it is theoretically possible to see God according to the Bible. He just doesn't show himself anymore except maybe when you spend time with someone who is really good like Mother Theresa was supposed to be really good, then you kind of feel like you can see God, because someone who is really, really good makes you believe that there must be a God, but even then you can't actually see them anymore unless he wanted to appear before you and let you see him, but then we're back at the burning bush problem so it's probably just as well it is the way it is.

Not by me , but Yes I do believe that there are people who in their desperate time of need have seen Jesus.
My Mother had a heart condition for 35 years and once during a severe period she saw Jesus before she recovered. Apparently He didn't need her yet.

I think ,Self-realization can lead to God-realization. We should realize ourselves as unique souls in our bodies, only then we can realize HIM (Supreme soul)..We can see (realize) ourselves and the God(Supreme soul) while in Rajyog-meditation.
