Every year me my husband and our 5 year old daughter dress up together and go tricker treating.. Last year we were pirates this year we are vampires......I love it when i see families get involved it really makes it fun for the kids.....What kinds of other activities do u do for family fun on Halloween??

Carving pumpkins is always fun....we got those books thad had premade layouts or you can go online and get cool ones. They have easy to difficult so you and your husband can have fun too! We did a pirates of the car. once! Then we would cook the pumpkin seeds!!!
They have kits to make gingerbread haunted houses or make cupcakes. We decorated the cupcakes with colored frosting made spiders with licorice legs and m&m eyes ghosts anything let your imagination fly with them! So much fun.
You can always have a little party for the kids and parents donut eating contests, oh and the apple bobing!!! That's always fun even if it is just the 3 of you!
Either that or search halloween games online! You guys could go as the Adam's Family!! lol

Like you, my husband and I have always dressed up with my two girls and went trick or treating with them. I just love it. However my oldest is now "13" and a half and she wants to trick or treat with her friends. So...last year I had her friends over for pizza and then let them go out in our neighborhood with her cell phone in hand. They came back periodically to rest, eat, and dump their candy off. Meanwhile, my husband went out with the 9 year old.
So my advise is just enjoy the time you have with them. and...

We dress up too. I think that is the best part. It makes it so much more fun and family oriented too.

no trick or treating for my son i am anti halloween we go to the harvest party at our church its too dangerous to trick or treat
