Well me and my boyfriend broke up about 3 and a half weeks ago and since then I've been stuck in this horrible funk. I'll like a guy and he'll flirt with me only come to find out he has this great enormous history with some other chick whom he still has feelings for. Yea guys are jerks lol but anyways my friends live far away and seeing as how I don't have a car I can't drive to go see them and I'm always online which sucks haha

I need some ideas of fun low budget things I can do at home to keep myself from being bored and feeling depressed.

Thanks
~Ashley~

You are so gonna get some really bad answers, I saw your profile and some of your questions and seeing that you are still too young to get drunk and you aren't going to tea bag the guy that says that to every single question in the freakin world, I'm going to try and answer you honestly. You have a computer, try talking to your friends, it's cheaper than a cell phone, I assume you have one, everyone does, maybe hop on MySpace and chat with your classmates, look up music you like, it's fun. My favorite thing to do is read, not so much when I was young like you, but that is also something fun that will pass time and somewhat cheap. Another thing you can do to pass the time is get a job, that is if your parents allow it, that would earn you some money and make other friends that aren't people you know from school. I hope the answer helps and don't listen to the mean people with nothing better to do than mock others questions.

I know the feeling. Usually I read a lot of books. That is more constructive than having casual sex, or drinking, or eating everything in sight. The books you read will usually give you more ideas on what to do and stuff. Another thing you might consider is taking on a new side career, something you always want to do but never had time or was to scare to do. That will definitely get out you out of the funk and totally unfocused on the dating thing. I also go to the gym and work out hard whenever I'm depressed. I end up all bulk and stuff so the next time I meet a girl, I'm ready ;)

There are a lot of things you can do at home! You can rearrange your bedroom, watch movies all day, listen and dance to your cd's, start a diary, get rid of old clothes, play games on your computer(-look up lyrics to your favorite songs), look thru picture albums, bake cupcakes for your family, look thru a cookbook and try to make something by yourself, take walks around your neighborhood- do you live close to places like a bookstore, or a library?........

Whatever you do, it's always good to keep in touch with your friends, whether over the phone or online. It's always nice to have someone you can always talk to, and help keep your mind distracted.....

Good luck!

You need to relax big time. Geez, it has only been 3 weeks. You seem like the dependent/clingy type from your description. Take this time and work on yourself and enjoy yourself. Don't be so quick to look for a replacement boyfriend. Relax. Plus a lot of times you meet the right person for you when your not looking.

Live it up!!! B/c people always want what they cant have! When your single you want some1, when your attached you wish you were single.....So, since you are single now, go w/ it, have fun!! Then when your in a relationship again you can look back at this time you were single & appreciate the new love in your life!!

Ashley, try working out or something. Something to occupy your time, tire you out and make you feel positive about something. I have no idea about your health, I am just suggesting that gaining something physically, be it losing a couple pounds or tightening up your abs will make you feel better about yourself. When you feel better about yourself, you carry yourself different and people will notice.
