Ok, my aunt and her fiance is getting married in May of '07. Her fiance don't want to fly, he's not giving her any reasons at all as to why he won't fly, he just said he won't. So, she's upset because she don't have a clue where they would go now, for their honeymoon. They live in St. Louis, MO Do anyone have any suggestions on some honeymoon ideas, that will be romantic, where they won't have to fly?

My husband and I went to Chicago on our honeymoon. We had a blast and saved a ton because we took the train! There is so much to to there - we were there for almost a week and want to go back so we can finish doing all the other things we didn't get to do! We stayed at the Hotel Monaco..which was awesome!

Planes can be very scary and if he has never been on one it is not a good idea to start on their honeymoon. I went for the first time a couple years ago and my ears would get stopped up and hurt so bad I could barely stand it. And I am glad I had that experience because before that I wanted to fly to get to my honeymoon but my fiance said no he didn't want to fly. Anyways, we ended up going to Tennessee (Pigeon Forge) it was a lot of fun. They could go to Vegas, or almost anywhere. Look up on the Internet romantic getaways. They could stay in St. Louis if they wanted to and just get away for a while.

It's not about where you go, it is about spending time with that person. Maybe he is embarrassed to tell her the reasons!

Lake of The Ozarks, Tan-ta-ra Resort. 180 miles west of St. Louis. It's beautiful there, It's a Lake front resort, with marina, indoor and outdoor pools, golf course, spa, on site restaurants, horses.... the area has great clubs and fine dining as well. They have honeymoon packages available.
Also, Chicago is only 4 hours away...there is plenty to do there.
Good luck
