North Korea will attack first, probably south korea or Japan, and it will probably involve nuclear weapons. Good news is that this wont set off a nuclear chain reaction, as North Korea will use all it nuclear resouces, and then allied countries will attack. However, this will mean a large number of resources going towards a new korean war. Some smaller countries, probably in the middle east, will take advantage of this and we will see war spread there, and into africa. Europe wont see much action, as most of the fighting will be in africa, the middle east and asia.

The allies wil probably be the USA, UK, Australia (which will become a major staging point for the allies) and most european countries. Countries such as Russia and chine wont make a major move until late in the piece when they can figure out how to increase their own position in the world, taking advantage of situation. They could just as easily become the enemy as join in with the allies.

In the enemy team, we will see Isreal (who will have taken advantage the Korean distraction to start its own land grab and take over of the middle east), as well as North korea, A few African nations who will have benefited from some nuclear proliferation, Maybe Russia, Maybe China, and who know which way italy and france will swing.

World war three will be very different from previous world wars. It will be mainly terrorist attacks followed by retribution from allied powers. Large scale invasions will mainly be by the allies as well as by israel.

As with other world wars, we will see a second consequence. The much anticipated bird flu will become the pandemic we all feared, and most deaths will be a result of that.

The good news is that with the earths population being slashed so quickly, the environment will be better off, and we will see a decrease in green house emissions.

The post-war world will be very different. Asia will lose out in the war mainly because of the effects of the bird flu, USA will be a smoking ruin from numerous terrorist attacks (and from cyclones and other natural disasters. Europe will have a greater level of power, though it may resemble something like a military state, and the European Union will become an all powerful ruling government. This may lead to another war with the UK.

Australia, will suffer a bit, but in a post war world, will become something of an independant oasis.

WW3 will start as a regional conflict that will rapidly escalate to total global war. It will start in the Middle East, with Israel being provoked into launching a nuclear strike against one of it's enemies, after a sudden unified attack. Russia, China, Iran, and other nations will unite aganst the West and Israel. America, and Europe will be attacked Pearl harbor style, except with nuclear ballistic missiles, launched from land, sea, and air. Hundreds of millions of civilains will perish in the initial assault. The ensuing battles will be the most horrendous events of all time. This will result in the end of civilization as we know it.

Your first inkling that the WWIII has started is when you feel the EMP. After that, beat the stampede to the stores and get water and food, as much as you can buy. You won't know, or have time to worry about how it all started. Highest probability, was an accidental launch by the Russians, based on their aging early warning system...they thought the US or NATO launched against them, instead, it was a computer foul up.

The axis powers will be Lichtenstein, Laos, Tumor, and Switzerland....it's always the quiet ones that you have to worry about. Watchout when you get the Swiss mad, they'll pull out their knives and ....er...corkscrew you.

It will begin with a Bogus "attack" on the lone superpower left in the world. That superpower will attack a country that had nothing to do with the "attack". That attack will be followed by a Civil War in the attacked country. Other nations will step in the vacuum and then other countries will have to defend their ill gotten gains.

OMG!!! It is already WWW III1

God forbid that it ever happens. If it does there wont be anything left to worry about. It will be the shortest war in history. It will start and end all in one day. We could be close to it now. Lets all pray it doesn`t.

If we pull out of Iraq too soon, WW3 will start right then.
If we lose in Iraq, it will start then.
All of Europe will burn.
France will surrender, and will still burn.

Let me tell you how it ended - in 1991 the Cold War ended when the Soviet Union threw in the towel without a shot being fired.

Pretty cool, huh?
