Think "healthy". Don't go eating ice cream and donuts every evening and/or consume alcohol. Every time you think of your break up, do something healthy. Go to the gym. Take a brisk walk. Eat something that is good for you. All of these things make your body feel better. Since your mind isn't at ease, try to make everything else around you better. You'll get to feeling better faster, and in the process, you'll be looking better for the next person who's lucky enough to be with you. Stay positive and stay busy!

Good question. I'm recently going through a separation from my husband. It definitely takes prayer, time, tears, family, friends, and in some cases therapy. Find things to keep you busy but not so busy that you put the break up on the back burner. It could come back to haunt you if you don't take the grieving time you need. I hope you heal fast and find happiness within yourself.

It takes time, hang around friends and family as much as you can, stay busy. Sooner or later you'll get over it. By the way, in your next relationship keep your family and friends in your life as much as you can and you'll notice that something like this won't hurt so bad.

Give yourself some time...the worst thing to do is to find someone else to be with. Never fill the void or you'll never know how to get over any kind of relationship issues. And most importantly...MAKE YOURSELF #1!!!

Give it time. Be patient with yourself. And try to keep your thoughts and feelings in check.
Feelings and emotions stem from ones thoughts. Keep your self busy with your time, and also make time for yourself. You are beautiful and special and you deserve to make quality time to do what makes you happy.
Also try to relax, listen to music that relaxes you and if your into it ( or you could learn it)
meditate. Meditation produces an inner peace and produces emotional and mental stability.

i get over a break up by doing stuff. go out. try a new hobby. but most of all don't try to jump into a new relationship because all you will doing is comparing that guy to the other guy and just mess it all up with that guy.

It just takes time. But if you want to get over them quickly, start dating other people and see how that goes. GOOD LUCK.
