planned parenthood, social services, law enforcement stations and fire stations sometimes have a variety of seats to help fit your car. they will also help you install your car seat properly once it is purchased. call your local offices and inquire. also, the WIC program offers help fitting as well. most car seat manufacturers have toll free #'s for questions. call them and ask. also, most new cars have special hooks and gadgets for installing infant/booster seats. if your car is older, keep trying.
