I'd be blunt personally, if he just approached me randomly. If it was a freind, I'd lie.

"Rated" him/her? As in giving them a rating? I don't do that, luv! I know right from the start if I like the person or not, and will reply with the truth: Yes or No... No b*llsh*t, no lie, no making up stories... I'm the kind of woman who doesn't believe in such modern world drivel; I believe in being truthful and honest, even when the truth hurts...

But you see, I am married and therefore situations like this don't really happen to me anymore!

No reason to be nasty, just politely give them a little white lie like you are already seeing someone or that you just came out of a relationship and are not ready to date. They will probably get the hint and you don't have to be cold about it.

This is why we have alibi-s. I have a close friend outside of my typical circle whom I have something of a liking for. When in situations like this, if the other person is not my type, I can refer to my friend as "the other interest" whilst being entirely truthful. No lie, no commitment, no guilt. Very handy.

Well, first off...Are you in a relationship now? How has your past 'dates' been? Wierdos?
Maybe it's time to try someone that doesn't "rate" properly. Could something be wrong with your rating system?
It's ok to go out and have fun, maybe he will suprise you.
If you still don't want to go out with him, just tell him you are seeing someone already.

I would say no but in a nice way. If they only look good, but are not your type, then the relationship would only work on a surface level, and would get quite superficial after a while.

Yes I would probably just say no but if they looked upset I would probably end up telling them some sort of lie to make them and me feel better.

I would say, Sorry but no thank you! There is no reason to lie. You should have enough balls to tell the truth!

do people really go out with complete strangers off the street? I'm afraid I just tend to ignore strange men. Is that bad?!

well you don't wanna hurt their feelings plus they tried i couldn't be nasty i'm too much of a nice person!! i'd just say sorry I'm not on the dating scene at the moment thanks for asking anyway. BUT if they really really really really bugged me by going on and on and did not leave me alone then I would tell them to get the hell away and fcuk off!!

Be blunt. After all if it was totally random you'll prob never see them again, so why lie?
